The investigation was process led initially - so the use of layering and tracing paper developed some of the ideas - combining the ant-like text drawing with traces left by pva and graphite lines.

Layering traces...
“At the root of all my art is drawing. Recently I have been making a series of abstract drawings based on rhythm and the idea of trace – leaving a subtle trace or mark.
“I am currently a postgraduate student on the MA Drawing As Process at Kingston University.”
